Why should I as a realtor use this program? Wouldn't I be working against my own interests?

Answer:
No!!! First of all you will be approaching people who are currently Not doing business with you. Here are the reasons you should. * You will get leads directed from the fsbo to your personal website. * The fsbo becomes a lead for a listing. You have offered a free service and are different from every other realtor. Also on our site it asks if they will work with a realtor. If they put yes and say offer a 3% commission, you may be able to sell that home or move them to list with you for say 3% more. * The sign directs buyers to the fsbo listing and in turn to your web site. * You should encourage them to use the listing ID # in there newspaper adverstising. You get free advertising from each newspaper ad. * You may can help the fsbo relocate. * If you are a new agent it gives you a "productive" activity, calling on FSBO's with a "real" chance to do business with them.



Question:
How do I get the leads when I get a FSBO to list on the site?

Answer:
There are two ways to get the leads directed to your web site; either by faxing the url (web address) along with your name and contact information to 251-662-1217 or by completing the online "Report a Listing" form.

If you are an existing client then please use this online "Report a Listing" method of reporting your new FreeUSFSBO.com listing. You will receive an email confirmation of this new listing submission. We add this to the listing and each visitor to that property has an opportunity to "search properties on the local MLS". That will be linked to your site.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Answer:
Yes, but only after 90 days. We feel like this is enough time to see if this will work for you and it makes it worth our while to add your links to the listings you obtain.

Do I have to purchase signs?

Answer:
No. However it is a good way to get "free" exposure. The ID # will be on the sign. A prospect can go to the site and look up your fsbo listing. Again having an opportunity to find your web site.

Where do I order the signs and how much are they?

Answer:
How much are the FreeUSFSBO.com Yard Signs? The signs are ordered through a third party. The cost should range between $7.00 and $10.00 each depending on the quantity ordered. The yard sign order info will be emailed after program enrollment.

Where do I get "fsbo" prospects?

Answer:
You can look in the classified section of the newspaper for "for sale by owner's". You need to check with your broker as to the "do not call policy" of the office. Most offices will allow a call to a fsbo if the agent has a prospect for that property. If your broker discourages this, you may use the number to cross reference the address and knock on their door. You may even take a sign with you. You can write the fsbo offering the "free service". Ride around looking for "for sale by owner signs" and again knock on their door. To get any business you have to see the people.
